NEW DELHI: NHPC has given its approval for investment to develop the 260-MW Dulhasti Stage-II Hydro Electric Project (HEP) in Jammu and Kashmir. The project received environmental clearance in Jan this year. It is likely to cost around Rs 3,200 crore and may take 44 months to complete.In a written reply in Rajya Sabha on Monday, minister of state for power Shripad Naik said the board of directors of NHPC Ltd had accorded investment approval for the project in Feb.
