Many residents also expressed concern for vulnerable groups, including the elderly and children, who are more susceptible to respiratory problems.Speaking to ANI, Suresh, a resident of Jalgaon, highlighted the importance of clean air for health and well-being.According to CPCB, the AQI, which ranges from 0 to 500, is divided into six categories, each reflecting the level of pollution and associated health risks.As per the AQI categorisation, readings between 0-50 are classified as ‘good’, 51-100 ‘satisfactory’, 101-200 ‘moderate’, 201-300 ‘poor’, 301-400 ‘very poor’, and 401-500 ‘severe’.In response to the severe pollution, the Delhi Government’s Directorate of Education on Saturday directed that schools conduct classes for grades IX and XI in hybrid mode.
