There have been no official comments on the meeting by the royal family. However, ex-BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond shared the reason for the former actress’ presence in the meeting. Commenting on His Majesty meeting the kids in person for the first time since 2022, she suggested the ‘With Love, Meghan’ host attended to shield her children from the drama behind the walls. “It’s a good thing that [Meghan] was part of the family reunion at Highgrove a few weeks ago,” Bond said to The Mirror, before adding, “The children deserve to see some family harmony: it would have been damaging to have to explain that their mother wasn’t invited.”“Meghan is an intelligent woman.
