Actor Kim Soo Hyun has been cleared of all allegations in his legal case with the family of the late Kim Sae Ron. However, his public reputation has taken a major hit over the past year, with many people still having mixed reactions about any updates regarding his case. Not only that, but as per new reports, while almost everyone boycotted the ‘It’s Okay To Not Be Okay’ actor, fellow star Jung Hae In allegedly stood by his side. As the report came to light, netizens started sharing their mixed reactions over the news.
Jung Hae In reportedly continued to support Kim Soo Hyun amid allegations
Around a year ago, Kim Soo Hyun was accused of dating Kim Sae Ron when he was an adult while she was still a minor. On top of that, his company was also accused of pressuring the star over debt repayment. While the actor has been cleared of all allegations after an investigation, many netizens are not okay with the decision. As per a report made by MHN, fellow actor Jung Hae In, known for his work in ‘Tune In For Love’ and ‘While You Were Sleeping’, allegedly supported him through everything, even though many people and companies in the industry had boycotted the South Korean actor. YouTuber Eun Hyun-jang, a controversial influencer accused of many things, also mentioned Jung Hae In and Kim Soo Hyun in his latest video. In the uploaded post, he detailed how many people who had turned against him are contacting him again, and how funny the situation is. Further on in the video, he mentioned that “Jung Hae-in was the only one who didn’t even unfollow me on social media and stayed by my side until the very end. He is a friend I met a few times who gave me a lot of support. And he also watched over Kim Soo-hyun without ever unfollowing him until the end. That’s why I keep calling him my younger brother, Jung Hae-in.”This report has quite a backlash online, with many people criticizing Hae In for standing by someone who has been accused of such crimes. He had already faced some criticism last year. At the time, he was one of the few celebrities who didn’t immediately unfollow Kim Soo Hyun after the allegations and scandal came to light.

As soon as the report and the YouTuber’s video circulated online, many netizens debated the actor’s credibility and how he could stand by someone accused of such crimes. One person’s post about the matter read, “I have always hated Jung Hae In,” while another person posted, “I thought it was just a joke but Jung Haein is really still shamelessly following Kim Soohyun. (crying emojis) I had to check and this just made me sad—what’s wrong with him?? They really are besties, huh?! (crying emojis and laughing while crying emoji).”Another social media user commented, “Disappointed with jung hae in. Now, go with him to h3ll.” Another comment about the matter read, “Not just Haein. Hyunwook, Chaemin or anyone else still following that man should realize that fans and K-drama fans in general aren’t obligated to ignore everything and keep cheering; they have every right to question be disappointed and walk away when their values no longer align.”At the time of writing, neither Jung Hae In nor Kim Soo Hyun have publicly addressed the report and the ongoing backlash.

As per the last update shared online, the production house behind the project confirmed that there have been no changes in the drama’s status, and currently, they do not have any plans for onboarding Kim Soo Hyun again.
