Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Saturday invited applications from eligible candidates for direct recruitment to various posts in different ministries and departments of the Government of India. The online application process has now started.According to the commission, candidates can apply through the Online Recruitment Application (ORA) portal from June 27, 2026. The last date to submit applications is July 17, 2026.The commission has uploaded Advertisement No. 07/2026, with vacancies spread across different ministries and departments of the central government. These include posts such as Joint Director in the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Medical Officer/Research Officer (Siddha) in the Ministry of Ayush, Aeronautical Officer and Legal Officer in the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Company Prosecutor in the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Deputy Superintending Archaeologist in the Archaeological Survey of India, Senior Photographic Officer and Photographic Officer in the Ministry of Defence, Civilian Assistant Security Officer, Store Officer (Civilian), and several Specialist Grade III and Assistant Professor posts in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.Direct link to official notification
