Jojo Siwa opens up about her terrible fall and gnarly eye infection
Jojo Siwa, whose real name is Joelle Joanie Siwa, opened up about how difficult her recent days have been. “Things aren’t going too well,” she said while sharing the montages of her infections in the reel, before adding, “Hopefully it’s on the mend in the next few days.” Shaking her head, the reality show star exclaimed, “On top of this, I also have a concussion. I’m a mess.”Describing her fall that led to a concussion on May 25, Siwa stated that she had a terrible fall off the golf cart when the wheel locked and spun out of control. The fall was of such force that she landed on her neck and then hit her head. “They think it’s completely unrelated, but it’s a gnarly eye infection,” she said about her infection that came a couple of days after the fall. “I’m gonna be fine. It’s just going to take a while,” she further said after visiting three doctors for different causes, before adding, “As unlucky as I am that it happened, I am very very lucky with how I came out of it.” Furthermore, she wrote a heartfelt note in her caption to update her situation: “The patch I found after a few days to be a bit difficult with the concussion recovery so only wear it now if I need a complete light break!” Meanwhile, amidst all the recovery, she celebrated a year of falling in love with her boyfriend, Chris Hughes, and shared a romantic post on May 27, 2026.
