Born in Park Ridge, Illinois, Chuck Russell started his incredible cinematic career by writing screenplays and working as a production manager and assistant director on independent films. He collaborated with Frank Darabont while working as an executive producer on ‘Hell Night.’ Furthermore, he wrote the script for Joseph Ruben’s film, ‘Dreamscape.’ However, Chuck Russell made his stunning directorial debut with ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street 3,’ where the box office collection went through the roof.
