. SRINAGAR: Vinai Kumar Saxena took oath as the fourth Lieutenant Governor of the Union Territory of Ladakh Friday, succeeding Kavinder Gupta. Prior to this appointment, Saxena served as the LG of Delhi.The oath of office and secrecy was administered by the Chief Justice of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, Justice Arun Palli, at a ceremony in Central Institute of Buddhist Studies (CIBS), Choglamsar.Saxena described Ladakh as the “crown of India” and assured that he would work wholeheartedly in accordance with people’s aspirations and requirements.
