Sergio Gor NEW DELHI: With US secretary of state Marco Rubio all set to visit India this month, ambassador Sergio Gor said Wednesday he’s looking forward to welcome his “good friend” to India. Rubio said the US deeply values its growing partnership with India and is excited to build even stronger ties that will benefit both nations and the world.Rubio is likely to arrive in Delhi on May 24 for a two-day visit. Apart from a bilateral with his counterpart S Jaishankar, he is also expected to participate in a meeting of the Quad foreign ministers. This will be his first visit to India since assuming office last year.Gor said on X President Trump’s leadership investment is flowing back to the US at record levels, and Indian firms plan to invest $20.5 billion in tech, manufacturing, and pharmaceuticals among other sectors.
