During one of his latest media interactions, the actor and politician expressed his gratitude towards Gen Z for their immense love and appreciation.

‘Maamla Legal Hai’ star Ravi Kishan reflected on his online popularity. He said the devotional song he sang during his political rally in West Bengal amid the elections has now resurfaced and become a hot topic on social media. While addressing the media, he said, “Unki creativity aur sab log, saare Gen Zs mai dekh raha hun ki kaafi hadd tak Shiv aradhana me hai aur bahut acha laga mujhe ki mere uss bhajan ko, saare Gen Zs ne bahut recreate kiya” (I see a lot of creativity among Gen Z, and I notice that many of them are deeply engaged in the worship of Lord Shiva; I am happy to see Gen Z recreating that bhajan of mine.)He further mentioned that he was left speechless over the traction his clip of singing the devotional song received. He added, “Yeh jo aitehaasik pyaar humko mila, jo Instagram ke itehaas mein kabhi aisa nai hua hai. Dekhiye Gen Zs jab pyaar dene par aate hain toh kitna aitehaasik dete hai uska ek aap example dekh rahe ho” (The kind of historic love we’ve received is something unprecedented in the history of Instagram. Ravi Kishan says that Gen Zs have accepted him

A couple of days ago, while in conversation with Hindustan Times, he was asked about his rising popularity on social media. He replied, “No one has discovered me before. Now, they want to see me more and know me more. Gen Z has accepted me as their own. I really want to thank them and salute their creativity.” He also shared that out of love, fans have started calling him names like – “Lord Ravi,” “God Ravi,” and even “today’s Osho”.

The beloved Bhojpuri star has been making rounds for his work in Hindi OTT projects. He appeared as Inspector Shyam Manohar in ‘Laapataa Ladies’ in 2024, earning considerable praise in the industry. Additionally, he has led two seasons of ‘Maamla Legal Hai’, which streams on Netflix and follows a group of eccentric lawyers and court staff tackling bizarre cases amid daily challenges. He also appeared opposite Madhuri Dixit and Tripti Dimri in ‘Maa Behen’, and in the Hindi film ‘Dhamaal 4’.
