The temple visit came just days after Ram Charan underwent a successful surgery on his right wrist at the renowned Ganga Hospital in Coimbatore. Dressed in a simple black outfit, the actor was seen with his right arm supported by a sling as he took part in the prayers. Upasana accompanied him throughout the visit and was also seen offering bananas to a cow as part of the temple rituals. After the special pooja, temple authorities presented the couple with prasadam and blessed them. The pictures have since become widely shared online, with fans relieved to see the actor recovering steadily.
Successful surgery followed by eight weeks of recovery
Ram Charan reportedly suffered the wrist injury while shooting for his latest film ‘Peddi.’ As reported by India Today, the surgery was led by renowned orthopaedic expert Dr. S. Rajasekaran, Chairman of Ganga Hospital, along with internationally known hand and wrist specialist Dr. Alejandro Badia, who travelled from Miami to assist in the procedure. Doctors later confirmed that the surgery was successful and advised the actor to undergo a structured rehabilitation programme. He has been asked to take around eight weeks of rest before returning to film sets and will resume shooting only after receiving medical clearance.
