Orlando Bloom has reportedly exited ‘Reset’!The actor, who was announced as the leading man opposite Priyanka Chopra in the upcoming independent survival thriller, has now walked away from the project, just as it went into production and was set to begin filming.According to TMZ, Bloom had been attached to the film as a co-star and co-producer and had remained involved throughout pre-production. However, he reportedly dropped out shortly before cameras were scheduled to roll, leaving the cast and crew scrambling to find a replacement.As per the report on TMZ, Bloom’s departure has caused frustration among those working on the independent project, as his involvement was reportedly an important factor in securing finances and distribution in overseas markets.With production already scheduled, the filmmakers are now said to be considering three potential replacements for Bloom. A decision is expected to be made quickly in order to keep the production on schedule.Chopra, who is also serving as a producer on the film, is reportedly expected to have a say in selecting Bloom’s replacement. Her involvement could prove crucial in determining whether the project proceeds as planned.As per Deadline, ‘Reset’ is being mounted as an independent survival thriller that reportedly revolves around a woman (Chopra) who wakes up in the middle of the wilderness days from civilisation with no memory of how she got there. She finds that her only chance at survival is to trust a charming stranger (Bloom) – who may not be who he says he is.On the work front, Priyanka is nearing the end of the ‘Varanasi’ shoot with director SS Rajamouli and leading man, Mahesh Babu. The film that is mounted ona huge Rs 1,200 crore budget, is slated for April 2027 release.
