NEW DELHI: What is being informally followed in recent months in SC has now become official. Senior advocates have been barred from mentioning any case before any bench. The court has issued a circular prescribing procedure for mentioning, adjournment and listing of urgent cases.It says all fresh cases relating to bail/cancellation of bail, death penalty, habeas corpus, eviction, demolition or any other matter involving urgent interim relief will be listed within next two working days. Senior counsels can’t orally mention case before any bench, says SC
