NEW DELHI: Former Tamil Nadu BJP president K Annamalai on Monday added fresh fuel to speculation about his political future after he left for Delhi from Chennai and declined to dismiss reports that he could be preparing to launch a new political outfit.When asked about the growing buzz surrounding a possible new party, Annamalai said, “Please wait. We will sit down and talk in two days.”The cryptic remark comes amid intense speculation in Tamil Nadu political circles that the former IPS officer could be considering a new political course following the 2026 assembly elections.The speculation has been amplified by giant posters put up by his supporters across Coimbatore ahead of his birthday.
