NEW DELHI: An Air India Express flight from Jeddah to Kozhikode carrying 160 passengers made an emergency landing at Cochin International Airport on Thursday after a technical issue involving its landing gear and tyre failure, officials said.The Cochin International Airport Limited said the Air India Express flight IX 398 was diverted to Kochi as a precaution after a problem was detected in the right main landing gear. The aircraft landed safely at 9.07 am under full emergency conditions.“All emergency services were activated in advance, and there were no injuries reported among passengers or crew.
