Finally the moment that majority of the film buffs were eagerly waiting for, has happened!Mohanlal has officially announced his next collaboration with filmmaker Dileesh Pothan. The project has been titled ‘Nedumkandam Miracle’ and it marks the first time the Malayalam superstar and the acclaimed ‘Maheshinte Prathikaaram’ director are working together.The announcement was made on Friday through a motion poster shared on social media.While the makers have confirmed the title and key crew members, they have chosen not to reveal any details about the film’s story.
Motion poster keeps the mystery alive
Instead of revealing the lead characters, the motion poster offers only silhouettes. It features the outlines of a man, two women and two children, without showing their faces or identities. ‘Nedumkandam Miracle’s screenplay has been jointly written by Syam Pushkaran and Paulson Skaria. Shyju Khalid has been signed as the cinematographer, while Sushin Shyam will compose the music. Editing responsibilities have been entrusted to Saiju Sreedharan.
Mohanlal has a packed release schedule
Apart from ‘Nedumkandam Miracle’, Mohanlal has multiple films lined up over the coming months. The actor is presently working on ‘Athimanoharam’, directed by Tharun Moorthy, who previously delivered ‘Thudarum’.He also has another major project in the pipeline with veteran filmmaker Priyadarshan.Mohanlal fans also have another reason to celebrate. One of the actor’s most iconic films, Kireedam, is set to return to cinemas. The restored version is scheduled to hit theatres on July 10.
