While the ‘Thriller’ singer established Neverland’s amusement park in his California home, his children were never allowed to enter the park themselves. The space included fairground rides, movie theatres, and a zoo, and they were only allowed to enter the park as “rewards.” Paris Jackson recently appeared as a guest on the ‘Call Her Daddy’ podcast, where she revealed that she and her brothers, Prince Jackson and Bigi Jackson, were never really allowed inside the amusement park.“I didn’t grow up there. It was only the first few years of my life that I was there, and I’d wake up, and I’d go to school.” She added that things like this had to be earned in her home. Michael’s children were homeschooled by private tutors.She added, “I’d wake up, and we’d go to the room that was our classroom. We’d go to school, and the cool, very congruent line throughout my childhood that kind of started there and just continued wherever we went was, “If you’re good and you do your chores and you do homework and you do the things that you’re supposed to do, then on the weekends you can go see some animals and you can go ride some rides and you can go to movies.” She also commented that “It was made very, very clear that all of the attractions there were not for us. That did not belong to us.”She shared that her father would tell them that the space was meant for underprivileged children and children who were battling terminal disease and could not afford to go to other places like Disneyland.
Paris Jackson revealed that Michael Jackson would put limits on their TV time
During the podcast interview, she even revealed that their father had limits on their TV and phone time too. She added, “We weren’t allowed to watch television or movies and stuff either unless we were studying it for film with the sound off or it was on the weekends if we had done everything we were supposed to do.”Debbie Rowe, Paris, Bigi, and Prince’s mother, was absent for most of their childhood years. However, she later connected with her children again when they were in their teenage years.
