While attending a recent screening event of ‘Cookie Queens’, which she and Prince Harry have joined as executive producers, she shared what her children liked the most from the documentary themselves. PEOPLE reported that during the Q&A session, Markle was asked what her children thought about the film and whether they had actually seen it or not. While Markle clarified that neither Prince Archie nor Princess Lilibet have watched the full documentary film yet, there is a part of the process they loved the most. Markle shared with a laugh that they got to taste a lot of baked goods during the filmmaking process. She added, “They love all the cookies that we’ve had throughout this process.” In another instance from the screening, the actress had also revealed that her favourite Girl Scout cookies are Thin Mints, calling them “classics.”In ‘MasterChef Australia’, which the actress recently joined as a guest judge, she had shared some details about her family’s eating habits. Talking about the same, she added: “If they say, ‘Mama, can I have dessert?’ We say, ‘If you can pick it, you can have it.’” Markle also shocked everyone by revealing that both of her children love to have Brussels sprouts, something that children commonly hate to eat.
About ‘Cookie Queens’
‘Cookie Queens’ is a documentary film by director Alysa Nahmias that follows four young Girl Scouts as they navigate the intense, high-stakes world of the annual USD 800 million cookie-selling season. While talking about the film during the screening event, Markle added, “It’s more than just about the Girl Scouts and certainly more than just about Girl Scout cookies. It’s about girlhood, which Alyssa has said quite a bit as we’ve been working through promoting the show, but also it’s about families.”She continued and shared, “I think it’s just such a brilliant portrayal of a really important part of Americana. When I describe it to people, I say, ‘I know you think it’s just gonna be a cutesy film about cookies…’ And yes, while it is very cute and there are lots of great things about cookies, I mean, I don’t know about you guys, but every time we’ve seen it, there’s not a dry eye in the house… There’s just so many really meaningful, grounding moments that I think will make it much more resonant than just something cute. It is so much bigger than that, and that’s a testament to Alysa and the crew and really how hard they’ve worked on this.”The star recently visited the UK along with Prince Harry, Prince Archie, and Princess Lilibet for the Invictus Games events.
