A video of the actor taking delivery of the SUV and performing a traditional puja before driving it home has gone viral on social media. While many fans congratulated her on the new purchase, others criticised aspects of the ceremony, triggering a debate online. In the viral clip, Malaika is seen performing customary rituals in front of her newly purchased Mahindra Thar Roxx before taking the vehicle on the road.For the occasion, she opted for a blue-and-white striped co-ord outfit featuring a sleeveless halter-neck top with a plunging neckline, paired with matching high-waisted flared trousers. She was accompanied by members of the dealership staff and others present during the vehicle delivery. The Mahindra Thar Roxx is priced at around Rs 28 lakh, depending on the chosen variant.

Social media divided over viral video

While several fans celebrated the actor’s latest purchase, others focused on her attire and the way the puja was performed. Some users questioned why she was wearing footwear during the ritual, while others commented on her choice of outfit.One user wrote, “She did not even remove chappals while doing pooja & aarti. See the video again. Lol. You are expecting too much from her.”Another commented, “She practices Christianity, why is she even doing this?”
