MAH MHMCT counselling 2026 registration begins; check eligibility, key dates, list of required documents
The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra has started the registration process for the Master of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (MHMCT) 2026-27 counselling. Eligible candidates can now apply online through the official counselling portal.The registration window will remain open till July 24, 2026, up to 5 pm. Candidates who wish to take part in the admission process can complete their registration at dmhmct2026.mahacet.org.in.According to the official schedule, candidates can upload their documents and complete the verification process from July 11 to July 25, 2026. The provisional merit list will be published on July 28, while the final merit list will be released on August 3, 2026.Candidates who find any errors in the provisional merit list will be able to submit their grievances between July 29 and July 31, 2026. Seat allotment will be carried out based on the candidate’s MAH MHMCT CET 2026 rank and the college preferences filled during counselling.

How to apply for MAH MHMCT counselling 2026
Candidates can follow these steps to complete the registration process:
- Visit the official MAH CET counselling website.
- Click on the New Candidate Registration link.
- Register using your name, email ID and mobile number.
- Log in with the generated application ID and password.
- Fill in the counselling application form.
- Upload the required documents and pay the application fee.
- Select your preferred colleges and courses.
- Submit the form and download the confirmation page for future reference.
Documents required
Candidates should keep the following documents ready while applying:
- Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or Class 10 mark sheet
- Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or Class 12 mark sheet

Eligibility criteria
Candidates applying for admission to the first-year MHMCT programme must meet the following conditions:
- Must be an Indian citizen.
- Must have completed a four-year Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management and Catering Technology (HMCT) or an equivalent programme with at least 50% marks.
- Candidates belonging to the reserved categories, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) must have secured at least 45% marks.
- Must have obtained a non-zero score in the MAH MHMCT Common Entrance Test (CET) 2026.
Sponsored candidates must also have at least two years of full-time work experience in a registered company, industry, educational or research institution, government department, or autonomous organisation in the relevant field.
