PATNA: About a month after she broke off relations with her family, RJD chief Lalu Prasad’s daughter, Rohini Acharya, signalled there was further strain when she appealed to Bihar’s govt to ensure that every woman can stay safely in her parental home. Rohini, who lives in Singapore, had donated her kidney to her father Lalu in Dec 2022 for transplant at a Singapore hospital.In a social media post on Thursday, she indirectly praised chief minister Nitish Kumar for distributing Rs 10,000 among women and giving cycles to schoolgirls, but said these steps were inadequate.
