JAMMU: J&K chief minister Omar Abdullah Thursday condemned the Nov 10 Delhi blast and sought the severest punishment for the guilty but stressed that every resident of J&K is not a terrorist or terrorist sympathiser.”The brutal killing of innocent people is extremely shameful. Only a few are responsible for this attack. Not every Kashmiri is on the side of terrorists,” Omar told reporters on the sidelines of Jammu university convocation.Replying to questions about the arrest of Dr Arif Nisar Dar, who was sacked from his job at Srinagar’s SMHS Hospital in 2023 by the Lt Governor for alleged terror links, the CM asked why no legal action was taken earlier. “If you believed one had terror links and you had evidence, why didn’t you take that evidence to court to prosecute the person? Merely dismissing someone from service doesn’t solve the issue. Today, we are seeing the result of that,” he said.On white collar radicalisation, the National Conference chairman said, “Haven’t we seen university professors involved before? There is nothing new about it.”Earlier in his address to the students, Omar said, “The university has invested in you. Now it is time for you to invest in the world around you. Remember, success is not measured by what you achieve for yourself but by what you contribute to society.”End of ArticleFollow Us On Social MediaVideos‘Not An Apologist For BJP’: Shashi Tharoor On Row Over Backing Modi Govt During Op SindoorPune Road Accident: At Least 6 Dead, Several Injured After Truck Rams Multiple Vehicles’Message to world’: Amit Shah vows strictest punishment for Delhi Terror Attack culpritsAfghanistan FM Muttaqi Slams Pakistan’s ‘Illogical’ Demands After Talks Collapse In TurkeyMultiple IEDs, 32 Vehicles: Agencies Uncover Plan For Serial Car Explosions In Delhi Blast Probe30,000 Troops, 25 Warships, Fighter Jets: India Concludes Tri-Service Drill Trishul | Op Sindoor 2.0Muhammad Yunus Sets February 2026 Election Date For Bangladesh Along With Referendum On July CharterProject Cheetah Boost: President Murmu, Duma Boko Attend Handover in GaboroneDramatic Drone Chase Catches Attacker Who Fled Amravati Wedding After Stabbing Groom With KnifeIndian Air Force Opens Nyoma Airbase In Ladakh, A Strategic Game-Changer Along The China Frontier123PhotostoriesWorld Diabetes Day 2025: Sugar isn’t the only enemy, 5 hidden triggers that fuel insulin resistanceGuava versus banana: Which is better for breakfastTop 5 national parks in the U.S. to see fireflies before they’re gone from the Earth!Beyond hydration and fiber: This one juice can help cleanse colon naturallyExclusive – Bigg Boss 19: Neelam Giri opens up about her journey; reacts to buzz around Tanya Mittal’s luxurious lifestyle and calls Farrhana–Tanya’s friendship fake8 ways to add carrot to kids’ school tiffin8 stunning red snakes around the world that are nature’s gemsPriyanka Chopra just recreated a classic ‘Mandakini’ moment: 5 times she stole the spotlight with her sareesWisdom beyond centuries: 5 Chanakya quotes students can live byFrom neem leaves to moringa: 5 food habits to learn from PM Narendra Modi123Hot PicksBihar Election CandidatesBihar Election ConstituenciesBihar Election 2025Gold rate todaySilver rate todayPublic Holidays NovemberBank Holidays NovemberTop TrendingEpstein FilesAndy ReidGabrielle UnionAyesha CurryAja WilsonNico HarrisonKayla NicoleLamar JacksonNHL Trade RumorsDavid Kampf
