Israeli man held with ‘narcotics’ in Ladakh’s Zanskar | India News
JAMMU/ZANSKAR: Police arrested an Israeli national after seizing suspected narcotics from his possession during a routine checking drive at Kargyak Check Post in Zanskar, Ladakh, officials said Tuesday.Police identified the suspect as Adir Yemini (24). He was moving in a private vehicle from Manali towards Zanskar when he was caught. The recovery included 104g of suspected charas, 16g of suspected ganja, and a negligible quantity of a heroin-like substance, an official said.An FIR was registered against the accused under the NDPS Act at Zanskar PS. The seized items would be sent for forensic examination. Further investigation was underway, police said.
