India Bullet Train: India’s first bullet train launch timeline revealed; route, speed, stations and everything we know so far

We all would agree to the fact that bullet trains remain one of the most awaited railway projects in India. Good news is, the project has reached a significant milestone. The first section of the country’s inaugural high-speed rail corridor is expected to start phased passenger operations starting August 15, 2027. The Mumbai-Ahmedabad corridor uses Japanese Shinkansen technology and is partially funded by JICA.
