He said the story continued to stay in his mind even after the screening ended.“After watching the film, it still stays with me. Even when I’m talking about it, I’m getting goosebumps. It’s full of surprises. Firstly, I thought it’s a mother and son film, a family film. But, oh God. I saw 10-15 minutes and after that I never expected that the film would steer away like this. The film is full of surprises.”The actor revealed that he initially expected a straightforward family drama. However, the narrative soon took an unexpected direction and kept him hooked throughout its runtime.

Sacnilk website reports that the film collected Rs 1.82 crore nett in India on its opening day. It was screened across 1,316 shows nationwide.The film’s India gross collection is estimated at Rs 2.11 crore. Kerala emerged as the strongest market, contributing approximately Rs 1.65 crore gross on Day 1.
