Hasan “HasanAbi” Piker has hit back at several internet personalities after they criticized him over a recent appearance involving the “We Are Charlie Kirk” song. During a Just Chatting livestream on August 23, 2026, Hasan addressed comments about the situation and specifically responded to a viewer who claimed xQc had accused him of advocating political violence. The comments brought Felix “xQc,” Zack “Asmongold,” Steven “Destiny,” and others into Hasan’s rant. The Twitch political commentator did not hold back, calling the people criticizing him “worm-like individuals” and saying his opinion of them “couldn’t get lower.” He also questioned whether his actions were being judged differently because of his political views.

The controversy began after a video showed Hasan singing the “We Are Charlie Kirk” song during a live episode of the Fear& podcast. The clip later became a talking point among several prominent internet personalities, including xQc and Asmongold.Hasan addressed the criticism while streaming on August 23. A viewer told him that xQc had accused him of inciting political violence. Hasan then pushed back hard.He argued that xQc, Asmongold, and others do not have genuine political positions and instead focus on what he described as “farming outrage” and “farming the algorithm.”His criticism was pretty direct. Hasan said that taking political positions from personalities like Asmongold or xQc would not lead viewers anywhere.

HasanAbi calls his critics “opportunists” and attacks alleged double standards

Hasan’s criticism did not stop with the “worm-like” comment. He also described xQc, Asmongold, Destiny, and other critics as “opportunists” who, in his view, lean into “outrage manufacturing.”He questioned why he could not make jokes that he claimed “everyone else” was making. Hasan also dismissed what he saw as excessive outrage over the song, calling it “pearl-clutching” and questioning whether this was becoming an “SJW” issue.Another part of his argument focused on what he described as double standards. Hasan said critics should be judged against things they had previously “cheered on” or “got excited for.” For him, that made the criticism over the Charlie Kirk song inconsistent.The situation also brought up Donald Trump, with Hasan pointing to the fact that one person who had campaigned with Trump was criticizing the song as a call for violence.

As of now, neither xQc nor Asmongold has responded to Hasan’s latest comments about them. That leaves the dispute centered on Hasan’s livestream remarks and the criticism surrounding the song.
