Trivedi said the bill provides for stringent punishment, time-bound investigation and speedier justice. These will prove key in preventing paper leaks, he said.Targeting opposition MPs, who raised questions on PM Modi’s educational qualifications, he said those who have never themselves faced competition in exams, in education, or in their own political parties are now teaching the govt. “In contrast, our politicians and our PM have faced competition and exams and have risen from the ground,” Trivedi said.JDU’s Sanjay Jha supported the bill, saying this should not be looked at from political prospects.Shiv Sena’s Milind Deora suggested students should be involved in the reform process by giving them a formal role in the consultations.Get the latest India News and Live updates.
