Bella Thorne on how ‘Spring Breakers 2’ will be different from the first film
During the podcast, the actress also commented on what differences fans can expect from the upcoming sequel compared to the 2012 film. She shared, “The female energy is there, girl, for sure. 2012, which is like when the movie came out, was such an exploitative time, and everyone was going through it. At that time, I, Miley [Cyrus], Zendaya, Selena, and everybody were being compared to who was going to be that next bad girl, and everything happening, it felt like that was the time, too, and this time, things are different. They are crazy. There’s a lot of craziness. There’s a lot of litness. There’s so much lilt in this movie.”Further teasing the project, she shared, “We are having fun. If you wanted to go to the theatre and have fun, you’re going to have fun with this movie, that’s for sure. It’s balls to the wall. That’s what everyone says when they read the script: Balls to the wall.”The first film, ‘Spring Breakers,’ boasted a cast of many talented names, including Rachel Korine, Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Benson, Gucci Mane, Heather Morris, Ashley Lendzion, and many others.
