'Bahar yehi khaana ₹50 to ₹100 ka milta hai. Yahan sirf ₹10': Security guard shows his hearty company lunch, internet says ‘Mujhe bhi job dila do’

A simple lunch video has got people talking online, and the reason is pretty straightforward, the entire meal costs just ₹10.Instagram user Anand Kumar, who works as a security guard, shared a video giving viewers a peek at the lunch provided by his company. And judging by the reactions, many people were pleasantly surprised by just how much food he gets for the price.“Company ka lunch only 10 rupees mein,” reads the caption of the video. In the clip, Anand happily introduces the meal before opening the plastic bag it’s packed in.“Toh doston, aa gaya company ka khaana. Hamari company sirf ₹10 leti hai,” he says.He then goes through the food, showing viewers what’s on the menu that day. There’s papad, karele ki bhujia, sabzi, onions, rice and dal. That’s quite a spread for ₹10.Anand then makes another comparison, pointing out that a similar meal could cost anywhere between ₹50 and ₹100 if bought outside. “Bahar yehi khaana ₹50 to ₹100 ka milta hai. Yahan sirf ₹10,” he says. And that’s what caught people’s attention. For many viewers, the idea of getting a proper, filling meal at work for just ₹10 felt like a great deal. The comments section quickly filled up with people praising the company – and a few even jokingly asking Anand if there were any job openings.“Which company?” one person asked. Another simply wrote, “Bhai, mujhe bhi job dila do apne saath.” Some viewers also loved the food itself. One person said they particularly enjoyed the combination of dal, rice and karele ki bhujia, while also praising Anand for his videos. There were, however, a few comments about how the food was packed. Some viewers felt that the company could consider replacing the plastic bags with reusable lunch boxes or proper containers.“The company should change the packaging a little,” one user commented. Another asked why the food couldn’t be packed in a lunch box instead of plastic bags. Still, the overall response was largely positive.“God bless the owner of the company,” one person wrote. Another viewer sent Anand a simple message wishing him good health and telling him to enjoy his meal. The video also struck a more emotional chord with some people, with one comment reading, “A man can do everything for his family.”The identity of the company hasn’t been revealed in the video, despite several people asking Anand where he works. For now, though, it’s the ₹10 lunch that’s getting all the attention. In a time when even a basic meal outside can quickly burn a hole in your pocket, a plate of dal, rice, sabzi, papad and karele ki bhujia for ₹10 is clearly something people online can appreciate.
