Actor Rahul Roy of ‘Aashiqui’ fame has been in the news for his viral reels which led to him being trolled. Rahul had then issued a statement amid the trolling. He had written, “I do my work with honesty and modesty. I have some legal matters to pay for, and these are not from today, they are from before the brain stroke happened. If you mock my simplicity or make fun of my struggles, it says less about me and more about you. If you are truly so concerned, then help me find some genuine and decent work so I can pay for these cases. At least I am earning through hard work, not by mocking others”.While the actor has been in the news, here’s recalling the time when Salman Khan had revealed that Kareena Kapoor had posters of Rahul in her bathroom when she was 15-16 years old. For those not in the know, Rahul was a national crush at that point after the success of ‘Aashiqui’. He had signed 47 films in a row and also worked with Kareena’s sister Karisma Kapoor in ‘Sapne Saajan Ke’ and ‘Megha’. Last year, when ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ returned, the first episode featured Salman Khan. Kapil had brought out a series of quirky posters featuring Salman at unusual spots like salons and eyewear stores. When asked if he had ever seen his poster in a strange location, Salman recalled an old memory involving Kareena Kapoor. “It is long time ago, I think I have heard in Kareena Kapoor’s bathroom. I was shown my poster at her house, I think she was 8-9 years old at that time, she was a fan. After she became 15-16 years old, my poster was replaced by Rahul Roy’s poster,” he said.Salman and Kareena have shared screen space in films like ‘Bodyguard’, ‘Kyon Ki’ and ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’.
