Aditya Seal and Anushka Ranjan have welcomed twin baby girls. The couple announced the arrival of their daughters on Instagram on Sunday, August 23, sharing the happy news with their fans and followers.The couple revealed that their daughters have been named Vira Ranjan Seal and Mahi Ranjan Seal.“We are very excited to share the news! Our hearts are full as we welcome our baby girls, Vira Ranjan Seal and Mahi Ranjan Seal, born on 23.08.2026,” they wrote.Sharing the announcement, they added, “My sunshines are here to brighten our lives. Our hearts are full of love and gratitude. Vira, Mahi.”
Anushka and Aditya’s journey to parenthood
Aditya and Anushka tied the knot in Mumbai on November 21, 2021, after dating for around four years. The couple first met in 2017 at a charity fashion show organised by Anushka’s mother and eventually began dating.Aditya proposed to Anushka during a vacation in Paris in October 2019.Their wedding was attended by several Bollywood celebrities, including Alia Bhatt, Vaani Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, Athiya Shetty and Rhea Chakraborty. Anushka wore a lilac bridal lehenga, while Aditya opted for a cream-toned sherwani, with both outfits designed by Manish Malhotra.
Anushka had opened up about her IVF journey
In June this year, Anushka spoke about her IVF journey and the emotional and physical challenges she experienced while trying to start a family.She revealed that she initially struggled with the idea of IVF and wrongly associated the treatment with something being wrong with her. She later spoke about the importance of removing the stigma around fertility treatments.Anushka also revealed that she underwent around 150 injections during the process and credited Aditya and her family for supporting her throughout the journey.
Couple announced pregnancy in May
