SC has directed Centre, CBI and Himachal govt to bring Subhash Sharma to justice by getting him extradited NEW DELHI: Taking note that the main accused in Rs 20,000 crore cryptocurrency fraud case is safely holed up in Dubai for more than a year after duping around 2.5 lakh investors, SC has directed Centre, CBI and Himachal govt to bring Subhash Sharma to justice by getting him extradited. A bench of Justices J B Pardiwala and K Vinod Chandran also directed attachment of all movable and immovable property of Sharma and his relatives.An FIR was registered in the case in 2023 and Sharma fled the country but the other accused were arrested in 2025.Granting bail to one of the accused in the case, the bench passed the order to extradite Sharma. It also requested Chief Justice of HP HC to constitute a special court to exclusively deal with this crime.Get the latest India News and Live updates.
