‘Sardar 2’ trailer: Karthi’s Sardar faces a new enemy as his forgotten past returns to haunt him – WATCH
Karthi is returning with the sequel of his 2022 action thriller, ‘Sardar 2’ is all set to release in theatres later this month. Directed by PS Mithran, the makers have now unveiled the trailer of the film. The 2 minutes and 58 seconds trailer gives a big look at the story, characters and action sequences.

The trailer takes the story back to an old incident from Chandrabose’s past. Chandrabose, also known as Sardar, had worked on a mission during his trainee days.Although he believed that the mission had been completed successfully, the damage caused by the incident continued to affect him. Years later, the old problems return and Sardar finds himself facing a new enemy called Black Dagger.Karthi will once again be seen in dual roles. His son is now also part of the same field and follows his father’s path after the events of the first film.

The trailer shows SJ Suryah as Black Dagger, who appears to be the main threat in the sequel. The film promises several action scenes and large-scale sequences.Malavika Mohanan is also seen in the trailer in the past portion of Chandrabose’s story. Rajisha Vijayan returns as her character from the first film, while Ashika Ranganath and Yogi Babu are also part of the cast.

The first ‘Sardar’ followed Vijay Prakash, an officer who wanted to create his own identity while dealing with the negative image surrounding his father, Chandra Bose.The movie will hit the big screens on September 10, 2026.Vijay later discovered the truth about his father and learned that Chandra Bose had taken the blame to protect his people. After many years apart, father and son reunited to face the same threat.
