PM Modi, Amit Shah, Sonia, Rahul join Sharad Pawar at Supriya Sule’s daughter’s Delhi reception
NEW DELHI: Political rivals set aside their differences on Monday night as Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, and several other prominent political figures shared the same frame at the Delhi wedding reception of NCP (SP) MP Supriya Sule’s daughter.The high-profile gathering at 6 Janpath in Delhi celebrated the marriage of Revati Sule to Nagpur-based industrialist Sarang Lakhani. The couple had married in Mumbai in June, with the Delhi event serving as a reception.

Amit Shah and NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar were photographed engaging in cordial conversation, with Amit Shah later greeting the couple on stage — folding his hands in a namaste as they touched his feet before he handed them a bouquet. Supriya Sule herself ushered him toward the stage.

Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi were also led onto the stage by Supriya Sule, with Sonia Gandhi positioned between the couple and Priyanka and Rahul flanking them on either side.Elsewhere at the reception, Congress MP Deepender Hooda and external affairs minister S Jaishankar were seen shaking hands, while Sonia Gandhi was also seen exchanging pleasantries with Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav.

Other attendees included RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Union ministers Hardeep Singh Puri, Chirag Paswan, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Ramdas Athawale and Giriraj Singh, Delhi minister Pravesh Verma, Congress MPs Renuka Chowdhury and Amrinder Singh Raja Warring, NCP leader Praful Patel, IOA president PT Usha, and former Union minister Smriti Irani.
