NEW DELHI: PM Modi termed NDA’s landslide performance as “sushasan ki jeet (victory of good governance)”, in what was seen as an endorsement of the continuation of Nitish Kumar as CM. Nitish is popular among his followers as “Sushasan Babu”, claiming to have effected a turnaround in the past 20 years by improving law and order, and development. “Victory of development has been achieved. Victory of the spirit of public welfare has been achieved.
