File photo NEW DELHI: India’s two oldest water dispute tribunals — 40-year-old Ravi and Beas, and 22-year-old Krishna water disputes tribunals — have got an extension of one more year till Aug 5, 2027 and July 31, 2027, respectively, as both of them have, so far been unable to resolve the vexed issue despite long years and repeated extensions.A gazette notification for the extension to the Ravi and Beas Tribunal said the Centre considered it necessary to extend till Aug 5 next year.
