Cooch Behar led with 96.2%, followed by South Dinajpur at 95.4%. Malda (94.8%), Jalpaiguri (94.7%), Birbhum (94.5%) and North Dinajpur (94.2%) also crossed 94%. Only Kalimpong (83%) and Darjeeling (88.9%) remained below 90%.Tamil Nadu’s turnout was revised down by .05 percentage points, accounting for 28,672 voters and pegging total votes at 4.87 crore. Figures remain provisional. EC ruled out any re-poll after scrutiny of 75,064 polling stations. Karur district topped at 92.6%, while Karur constituency led with 93.4%.
