The award, given by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), recognizes personnel who demonstrate exceptional efficiency and dedication.A native of Intel Kalan village in Jind district, Dinesh joined the CRPF as a Gazetted Officer in 2005 after clearing the UPSC examination. He completed his schooling at SD High School and graduation from Government PG College, Jind. During his deployments in Jammu and Kashmir—from 2008 to 2013 and again from 2017 to 2021—he played key roles in managing the Amarnath Yatra, maintaining law and order, and serving during crucial phases such as the abrogation of Article 370 and the COVID-19 pandemic.Known as an excellent instructor, Dinesh significantly contributed to advancing commando training at CIAT Shivpuri.
