During an interview with NDTV, Chitrangada Singh shared that she had heard several warnings about Salman Khan before working with him. However, her actual experience was entirely different. “People said a lot of things about Salman, like schedules would be stretched and he might not be on time. People used to say he is unprofessional, but he is amazing,” she said.

Chitrangada Singh praises Salman Khan’s behaviour on set

The actress further praised Salman’s behaviour on set, particularly his interactions with the crew. She said, “He treats everyone with love, looks after others, and shows concern even for crew members. He was very approachable and has that amazing quality of noticing the least visible person on set, whether it is a lightman or the fourth AD. He would ask whether they had a break and their food on time, and how they were being treated. To still have that concern after so many years in the industry is amazing. People said he wouldn’t come early, but he came early because I was shooting early.”

Inspired by real events surrounding the Galwan Valley clash, ‘Maatrubhumi’ is an upcoming war drama directed by Apoorva Lakhia. The film is backed by Salma under the Salman Khan Films banner and stars Salman Khan as an Indian Army Colonel, alongside Chitrangada Singh, who plays his wife. It aims to tell a story driven by bravery, sacrifice, and patriotism.

Salman Khan’s ‘SVC63’ marks his first film with Nayanthara

In addition to ‘Maatrubhumi’, Salman Khan is set to star in a film tentatively titled ‘SVC63’. Helmed by Varisu director Vamshi Paidipally, the project has already commenced shooting with a muhurat ceremony held in Mumbai. Positioned as a high-budget action entertainer, the film is reportedly eyeing an Eid 2027 release. It will also bring Salman together with Nayanthara for the first time, with the actress playing the female lead. Reports suggest the team is looking to wrap up filming by August or September this year.
