He warned voters that voting them to power would make the state “retrogressive” and urged voters to choose the DMK combine to sustain the pace of growth.Addressing a poll campaign in Villupuram in support of party candidates Lakshmanan (Villupuram) and Gowtham Dravidamani (Vanur), the DMK youth wing secretary appealed to the people to “annihilate” the AIADMK and BJP in the upcoming assembly elections.
