NEW DELHI: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has handed over the additional charge of Director to Dr Nikhil Tandon, head of the Department of Endocrinology and Metabolism and Dean (Academics), following the exit of Dr M Srinivas.Dr Srinivas has been appointed as a full-time member of NITI Aayog, prompting the institute to make interim arrangements for its top post.According to an office memorandum issued on April 27, Dr Tandon will discharge the duties of Director in addition to his existing responsibilities.
