During questioning, Sandeep revealed that he travelled to Myanmar in December 2024 and Mukul in June 2025, where they met Chinese individuals and began engaging in cyber fraud. According to police, they both earned commission for recruiting youth from India by luring them with the promise of getting them jobs in Thailand. Sandeep would take them illegally from Thailand to Myanmar, then, after taking them there, he would push them into cyber fraud operations run by people of Chinese origin, a senior investigating officer said. “In return for this fraud, the accused used to receive a huge commission from their Chinese origin associates.
