Photo credit: IANS NEW DELHI: The National Medical Commission (NMC) will open its online portal for applications for the Eligibility Certificate (EC) for Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) aspirants from 10 am on September 1 to 6 pm on September 30, giving candidates who have not yet obtained the certificate an opportunity to apply.The EC is mandatory for candidates required to appear for the FMGE. The NMC has said candidates without an Eligibility Certificate issued by the commission will not be permitted to apply for the screening test. The commission has advised applicants to rectify any deficiency at the earliest to avoid delays in processing.For queries regarding the status of an application, candidates must mention the File Tracking Number generated at the time of submission.
