Simple things that make you feel good without spending money, from taking a walk to reconnecting with people you love
You don’t always have to do something to feel better right now. Sometimes, all you need is to slow down. Take a shower, change clothes, lay on your bed, listen to some music or sit in silence for a while. You don’t have to turn everything into a productive or fun task. You don’t have to spend money to have a better day
It is easy to think that feeling good means shopping, making plans or doing something expensive. However, the most helpful things are usually the simplest: working out, talking to people you care about, listening to music, sitting outside or letting yourself rest. The point is not to force yourself to feel happy all the time but to feel a little bit better on a day that was difficult.
