Salman Khan is known for his generosity and he has once again shown his support for someone who has been a trusted part of his professional journey for years. The actor recently came to the aid of his longtime body double, Parvez Kazi, after he fell ill and underwent minor heart surgery earlier this month. Salman reportedly ensured that Parvez received proper medical attention and continued support during his recovery.According to a report by India Today, Parvez fell unwell at his home on August 6. Initial reports claimed that he had suffered a heart attack while shooting, but his manager Piyush later clarified that the health scare did not take place on the sets. He said Parvez consulted a doctor after feeling unwell and underwent several medical tests. He was subsequently hospitalised, where doctors performed a minor heart surgery. After learning about Parvez’s condition, Salman reportedly stepped in without hesitation and made sure he received the necessary treatment. Piyush said the actor was “right there with us” and personally looked into the arrangements surrounding Parvez’s medical care. He further shared, “Salman sir treats Parvez sir, like a younger brother and helped immediately.”Parvez is currently recovering and is said to be doing better. He is reportedly grateful to Salman for standing by him during the difficult period and ensuring he received timely medical assistance. The health scare had also sparked concerns over Salman’s ongoing shoot for his upcoming pan-India action entertainer with Nayanthara, reportedly titled Monster. Since Parvez needed time to recover, reports suggested that Salman could be required to perform some of the action portions himself. However, Parvez is now said to be recovering well and is expected to return to work after taking a few days of rest. The production team has also reportedly revised parts of the stunt schedule and plans to take additional safety measures when he resumes shooting.Directed by Vamshi Paidipally and backed by Dil Raju, Monster marks Salman’s first collaboration with the producer. The film is currently being shot in Mumbai and features several elaborate action sequences. The makers have reportedly recreated an Afghan village at Prime Focus Studio in Film City, while a Korean action team has been brought on board for the stunt portions. The film is expected to arrive in theatres on Eid 2027.Parvez has been associated with Salman as his body double for several years and has worked on several of the actor’s films, including Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Sultan, Tiger Zinda Hai, Race 3, Bharat, Dabangg 3 and Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai.Meanwhile, Salman’s war drama Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace is still awaiting an official release update. The project was earlier announced under the title Battle of Galwan and has reportedly faced delays following concerns raised by the Ministry of Defence regarding certain portions of the story.
