Emraan Hashmi and Disha Patani’s Awarapan 2 is maintaining a steady run at the box office as it enters its 10th day in theatres. Following a strong opening week and a solid second weekend, the sequel has now crossed the Rs. 136 crore India net mark and Rs. 190 crore worldwide.The film opened with Rs. 22 crore net on Day 1 before witnessing a major surge on Day 2, when it earned Rs. 33.75 crore. Day 3 added another Rs. 26 crore. Collections then moderated, with the film earning Rs. 9.25 crore on Day 4, Rs. 9.75 crore on Day 5, Rs. 6.75 crore on Day 6 and Rs. 6 crore on Day 7. This took its first-week India net total to Rs. 113.50 crore, while the India gross stood at Rs. 135.37 crore.The overseas market also delivered consistent numbers during the first week. The film earned Rs. 2.50 crore on Day 1, Rs. 5 crore on Day 2, Rs. 4 crore on Day 3, Rs. 2.50 crore on Day 4, Rs. 2 crore on Day 5, Rs. 1.50 crore on Day 6 and Rs. 1 crore on Day 7. Its overseas gross reached Rs. 26.30 crore, taking the worldwide gross after seven days to Rs. 161.67 crore.The second weekend brought renewed momentum. On Day 8, Awarapan 2 collected Rs. 5.75 crore net from 9,858 shows, lifting its India net tally to Rs. 119.25 crore and India gross to Rs. 142.21 crore. The overseas market contributed another Rs. 1 crore, taking the worldwide gross to Rs. 169.51 crore.Day 9 saw an even stronger performance, with the film adding Rs. 8.25 crore net across 10,008 shows. Its domestic net collection consequently climbed to Rs. 127.50 crore, while India gross reached Rs. 152.11 crore. With Rs. 1.50 crore coming from overseas, the worldwide gross rose to Rs. 180.91 crore.According to Sacnilk, Awarapan 2 continued its run on Day 10 with 13,629 shows and recorded a net collection of Rs. 7.05 crore.With this addition, the film’s India net collection has reached Rs. 136.50 crore, while its India gross stands at Rs. 162.70 crore.The overseas market contributed a further Rs. 1.50 crore on Day 10, taking the cumulative overseas gross to Rs. 30.30 crore. As a result, Awarapan 2 has now registered a worldwide gross collection of Rs. 193.00 crore.With its second-week performance remaining healthy, the film appears to be on course for the Rs. 150 crore India net milestone by the end of its second week.
