Indian authorities removed security cordon outside Pakistan High Commission in Delhi
NEW DELHI: Authorities have removed structures and queue-management barriers erected outside the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi, official sources said on Thursday.According to news agency PTI, the structures, including queue liners installed near the visa section of the Pakistani mission, were located on a lane outside the compound’s approved boundary.They were removed as part of the action, they said.Indian authorities also removed traffic bollards and barricades that had previously been placed around the diplomatic compound.The development comes days after Pakistan removed security barricades and parking poles placed outside the Indian High Commission in Islamabad.(With agency inputs)
