The prime accused, Dr Umar Un Nabi, was a former student of the university. In response, the institution issued a statement condemning the attack and affirming its commitment as a responsible educational body aligned with national interests. As part of the investigation, Delhi Police have issued two summons to the university’s chancellor, citing the need to resolve inconsistencies in the institution’s functioning and clarify the roles of certain individuals linked to it.
