Police did not use force and eventually opened the route, allowing the farmers to proceed into the city.The protest, organised under the banner of the Samyukta Kisan Morcha, began on Monday with a sit-in at Sethanighat in Narmadapuram, where farmers recited the Hanuman Chalisa before starting their march towards Bhopal, PTI reported.Earlier, police had attempted to stop the march by erecting barricades at Bhopal Tiraha and other locations. District Magistrate Somesh Mishra and Superintendent of Police Saikrishna S.
