After ‘Jana Nayagan’, Anirudh Ravichander pens an emotional note reflecting on journey with Vijay from ‘Kaththi’: ‘Thank you for the unlimited trust’

Beyond Indian cinema, Anirudh has also worked with international musicians. Alongside the image, he revisited their collaborations and expressed gratitude for the trust the actor placed in him throughout their successful partnership. ‘Jana Nayagan’ marks their fifth collaboration
‘Jana Nayagan’ is the fifth film to bring Vijay and Anirudh together after ‘Kaththi’, ‘Master’, ‘Beast’, and ‘Leo’. The latest action entertainer also stars Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde, Mamitha Baiju, Nassar, Prakash Raj, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Narain, and Priyamani in important roles. The film is an official remake of the Telugu hit Bhagavanth Kesari. It also carries added significance as Vijay’s final acting project before his full-time political journey. It is also the first of his films to release after he assumed office as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.
‘Jana Nayagan’ continues impressive box office performance
‘Jana Nayagan’ has maintained its strong momentum at the box office during its opening weekend. According to trade tracker Sacnilk, the film earned an estimated Rs 32 crore net in India on Day 4, registering a healthy increase over its Day 3 collection of Rs 28.90 crore. With the latest numbers, the film’s India net collection has reached Rs 124.75 crore. Meanwhile, the India gross collection stands at Rs 145.98 crore. The story revolves around a retired IPS officer who takes responsibility for the daughter of a close friend after his death. He encourages her to overcome childhood trauma and inspires her to fulfil her ambition of joining the Indian Army.
